The City Under-19s captain scored a hat-trick in our 6-0 triumph over the German outfit on Tuesday afternoon, helping City move one step closer to guaranteeing a place in the knockout stage of the prestigious competition.
All of the number 10’s goals were eye-catching, but so were City’s other three, all from different scorers.
First, Reigan Heskey got us off the mark with a composed penalty before Christian McFarlane bagged his first goal in Blue, a clinical left-footed finish.

And 16-year-old Floyd Samba continues to showcase his ability in front of goal too, firing a fantastic right-footed finish into the top right corner shortly after he entered the fold as a second half substitute.
After the game, Mukasa was quick to highlight City’s plethora of goalscoring talent in the wake of Tuesday’s brilliant victory.
“I think for us as a team we’re such a talented, attacking team, so the main message [from Ben Wilkinson] was to get everything right out of possession and then the in possession stuff will take care of itself, and I think it did that,” Mukasa explained.
“We’ve got so much belief as a team, in the talent in the team, so we have to get through in this competition, it’s what is expected of us, and it’s what we want to do as a team. So it’s good to take a step in the right direction.”
