Arne Slot desperately needs to see his team win on Wednesday.
Pressure is starting to mount on the Dutchman after a terrible start to the season, with the Reds’ best chance of silverware looking like it might have to already be the Champions League.
They have lost eight of their last 11 games, showing why this match is much more important for Slot than it would have been before.

He will have to make some changes to the side if they are to get past an in-form PSV team, and fans have been pretty vocal about what they want to see.
And based on how things are going right now, Slot might just listen and hope it pays off. Here is the side we think he will send out to try and get back to winning ways.

Defence
The goalkeeping position is a little harder to call compared to previous weeks due to both Giorgi Mamardashvili and Alisson Becker now available again at the same time.
However, Alisson will surely get the nod due to the importance of the game and his experience, especially as Simon Mignolet has already warned Liverpool about the issues with rotating goalkeepers.
There will likely be a few changes to the back four, though, with the first being Andy Robertson coming into the team at left-back.
MORE LIVERPOOL STORIES
Milos Kerkez had another lacklustre performance at the weekend, which is why the Scotsman should come back in, especially as he has a good relationship with Virgil van Dijk, who will play next to him again.
Alongside the captain, however, will likely be Ibrahima Konate despite his poor outing vs Forest, with this because the Reds have barely any other options.
The only other choice is Joe Gomez, even if he is not fully fit, but he will likely start at right-back for this one anyway, although it is a bit of a risk.
Midfield
The middle of the park has been a bit of an issue in recent weeks, but again, it seems unlikely to change too much, with Ryan Gravenberch resuming his usual position.
Gravenberch was called out by Steve Nicol for going missing against Forest, so in this one he will want to prove a point.
Just in front of him will probably be Alexis Mac Allister, with the Argentine now able to get regular minutes after overcoming his injury issues.

Who will win Liverpool vs PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday?
Playing as the number 10, although he will likely drop back to make up a flatter midfield three, will be Dominik Szoboszlai, with the Hungarian Liverpool’s best player this season.
He did a good job at right-back at the weekend, but his energy was missing from the midfield, making it a no-brainer to get him back where he belongs as soon as possible.
Attack
The forward line is where things get interesting as Slot really could do anything, with there some bold calls to be made.
However, we think he may finally listen to fans and start both Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak together, although not as a strike partnership.
Ekitike could start on the left and Isak through the middle, with this attacking change hopefully able to get the best out of both of them, but mainly the Swede.
Isak barely got any service against Forest, but with the Frenchman alongside him, he might just explode into life and kickstart his Liverpool career for good.
On the right, despite calls to drop him, it will likely be Mohamed Salah who starts, especially as he was one of the Reds’ best players vs Forest.
He may not have scored but he looked a little brighter than usual, and the Egyptian will be hoping to prove any doubters wrong in this one.
