Everton managed to win away at Manchester United for the first time since 2013 last night, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall netting the only goal of the game.
Everton produced a battling performance with 10 men following Idrissa Gueye’s red card in the 13th minute.
A night to remember for Everton. It was their first Premier League win at Old Trafford since 2013.
David Moyes‘ side have now moved on to 18 points and are only three points behind fourth-placed Aston Villa.
The Toffees have now won back-to-back games against Fulham and Man United, so they’re getting some real momentum back.
With all that said, here are three things that Moyes would’ve learned about his side coming away from Old Trafford.

James Garner isn’t too far away from England call-up
Gary Neville was full of praise for James Garner after his performance against his former club last night and it seems Thomas Tuchel was impressed too.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Tuchel was spotted talking to Garner in the tunnel after the game, so perhaps the England manager is considering calling him up for the March camp.
Thomas Tuchel finally recognises James Garner and Jack Grealish after Everton’s win over Man United
The Everton midfielder has shown great versatility this season, playing in midfield and as a left and right-back.
Garner would genuinely be a great option for the Three Lions at the World Cup next year, and yesterday proved that he’s not too far away from a call-up.
Jordan Pickford is getting better with age
Dimitar Berbatov actually named Jordan Pickford as his Man of the Match, above the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Garner.
The Toffees star made one of the saves of the season as he denied a Joshua Zirkzee header that looked for all the world like it was going in.
This has to be one of the saves of the season!
Where would Everton be without him?
The 31-year-old is now in the prime years of his career, and he’s certainly getting even better with age, hence why the club have placed him on a new contract.
Pickford recently signed a new deal running through until 2029.
Thierno Barry is growing in confidence
Thierno Barry didn’t get much service, which was to be expected with 10 men, so his performance was determined by making the ball stick and holding it up.
Barry did that really well and actually set a new Premier League record this season, winning 14 aerial duels in a single game.
That’s two more than any other player has managed, so clearly the young Frenchman played his part in the gritty win.
Barry was superb against Fulham and has again produced another top display. He’s certainly growing in confidence, and perhaps that first goal is right around the corner.
