This week’s MNF turned into a must-watch drama after the final whistle. The San Francisco 49ers’ 20-9 win over the Carolina Panthers ended with a wild postgame brawl between 49ers receiver Jauan Jennings and Panthers safety Tre’von Moehrig.

Those who just watch the postgame brawl during the handshake will blame Jennings for sure. But the main culprit behind this chaos was Moehrig, who hit the Red player’s balls during the game.
However, Jennings didn’t react immediately. He saved his move for the final whistle, as he didn’t want to make any scene in the match.

Shortly after the postgame handshake brawl, television cameras showed new footage of Moehrig delivering a punch to Jennings’ groin area after a Christian McCaffrey run play. The low blow happened right in front of officials.
Jonning grabbed his ball hard, jumping in pain with shock in his eyes, but the officials missed it, as if they had been transported to another world.

Moehrig claimed Jennings was doing extra stuff after the whistle and talking crazy throughout the game. The Panthers’ safety said the shot just happened, but surprisingly he didn’t offer any apology, adding he’d take the hit.
After the clock hit triple zeros, Jennings hunted down Moehrig at midfield. He hit him with a quick, open-handed right cross to his face mask before linebacker Krys Barnes took Jennings away from his teammate.
The league will likely review both incidents for fines or suspensions. If not suspension, then fines feel almost locked in.
Fans Split on Who’s Really at Fault
Social media exploded with takes on both sides. A handful of fans joked about the Niners’ players’ poor situation, but the majority offered a serious reaction.
One fan joked, “Moehrig Breaks His Egg.”
Another demanded justice, penning, “Moehrig sneaks a shot to the balls and Jennings pops him once. If Goodell fines the guy who got assaulted and not the coward who threw the cheap shot, the league is a joke. I’d throw hands too!”
A third claimed, “Looks like 2 minutes for roughing and a 10 minute misconduct.”
One praised Jennings’ patience, adding, “This is called putting the team first and not getting a fifteen yard penalty in game.”
A fifth remarked, “Moehrig was just trying to punch the balls out.”
So, a suspension is likely on the horizon, as postgame punches are always subject to strict review. With the 49ers preparing for Cleveland, the key question is whether Jauan Jennings will miss time for hitting Tre’von Moehrig.
