Arsenal are ready to accelerate in the pursuit of wantaway Real Madrid winger Rodrygo Goes, with Liverpool and Tottenham also keen.
According to Fichajes, Arsenal are ready to make their move for Rodrygo Goes, with an 80 million offer in the works. Real Madrid could sell the Brazilian winger amid concerns over his game time under Xabi Alonso, as the Gunners are joined by Tottenham and Liverpool in the hunt.
Rodrygo Goes could be a big talking point over at Real Madrid ahead of the January window, amid concerns over his game time. Xabi Alonso continues to publicly rate the Brazilian, but he has so far favoured playing with other players such as Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono on the right wing.
Rodrygo has already contemplated leaving Real Madrid ahead of January, with a firm focus on winning back his place in the Brazilian national team squad for the World Cup next year. For that, he needs regular minutes under his belt moving forward, which may not be forthcoming at Real Madrid at the moment.
The Premier League is looking increasingly like his next destination, as Arsenal are currently planning on making an €80 million offer for the winger. The Gunners are planning to propose worth €60 million plus another €20 million in add-ons, as they will hope to test Real Madrid’s resolve with the reported bid.
Whether the Spanish giants are open to the idea of selling him remains the question, especially given they were demanding far more in transfer fees back in the summer. The Gunners had planned to bring in a wide attacker in future windows, with the likes of Kenan Yildiz among those linked.
Rodrygo’s race is heating up
Arsenal are not the only team in town for the 24-year-old Real Madrid star, with Tottenham also keen to sign the winger. The attacker has been on Spurs’ agenda since last summer, and they are planning to strengthen their squad in the wide areas around January. Whether the Brazilian views them as a priority choice remains the question, given the choice of clubs interested in his signature.
Liverpool are also keen and have been exploring the market for a wide attacker. Rodrygo has been on their list since the summer, but at the moment, they are in talks for Antoine Semenyo. The Merseysiders could entertain the prospect of signing the 24-year-old Real Madrid star if they have the chance, especially if there are complications in their pursuit of the Bournemouth star.
