Seattle Seahawks Have Bad News for DB With 2 Interceptions

The Seattle Seahawks’ starting cornerback tandem has taken shape after trade rumors and injuries earlier in the season. The team considered trading Tariq Woolen, who was benched in Week 6, but kept him while Devon Witherspoon missed five games due to an MCL injury. Woolen has since regained his starting spot, joining Josh Jobe on the outside, with Witherspoon in the slot.

According to Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times, per NFL transactions, the Seahawks have waived Derion Kendrick. As a result, the cornerback will be subject to the waiver wire for the next 24 hours, and if he clears waivers, he is free to sign with any team. Kendrick may join the team’s practice squad if he isn’t claimed.
