Luka Doncic goes into Tuesday as the NBA’s leading scorer, averaging 34.5 points per night while getting to the free throw line at the highest rate of his career and averaging the second-most assists per game (8.9 apg) since entering the league in 2018. He scored a game-high 33 points while Austin Reaves added 22 and James 17 in the Lakers’ 108-106 win over the Utah Jazz on Sunday, despite hitting just 4-of-24 attempts from 3-point range as a group.

Although Crypto.com Arena is their shortest commute so far, the Clippers are set to wrap a seven-game road trip as 6.5-point underdogs to the Lakers. They are 2-4 on the road swing so far and return to LA on the heels of a 120-105 loss to the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Sunday. Center Ivica Zubac was a bright spot in the loss with 33 points on 15-of-22 shooting with 18 rebounds (seven offensive) and four assists.
