Suns rule Grayson Allen, Ryan Dunn out vs. Kings, Domantas Sabonis also out

The Phoenix Suns will be without guard Grayson Allen and forward Ryan Dunn in Wednesday’s game at Sacramento, and the Kings will be without All-Star big Domantas Sabonis.

This will be the sixth game Allen has missed due to a quad injury. He was averaging 18.5 points (44.7% from 3) with 4.3 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 steals across 13 games before suffering the injury.

Dunn started for Allen in the first three games he missed before Dunn went down with a wrist injury on a dunk attempt during a win against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Nov. 21.

He’s averaging 9.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and two assists in 24.9 minutes per game in 11 starts this season.

Guard Jordan Goodwin started the two games Dunn has missed, averaging 11 points and seven rebounds per game.

Jalen Green (hamstring) remains out for Phoenix.

Sabonis hasn’t played since Nov. 16 due to a partial meniscus tear. Sacramento said he would be reevaluated about 2-3 weeks out from Wednesday’s matchup, which could make him available in time for the teams’ next matchup on Jan. 2.

He was averaging 17.2 points, 12.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the 11 games he played.

Sacramento guard Dennis Schröder is questionable for the game with hip soreness. He played 24 minutes in an overtime game on Monday.

Schröder has come off the bench for the Kings in the last six games (three with 20-plus points) after starting the first 12 games (one with 20-plus points).

Listen to Suns-Kings on Wednesday at 8 p.m. MST on 98.7 and the Arizona Sports app.
