The sight of the Chelsea owners attending games at Stamford Bridge has become far rarer as time has gone on, however there was attendance when the Blues met Barcelona.
Behdad Eghbali was at the game, and was able to watch the fruits of his labour come together on the big stage in the Champions League.
Chelsea beat their closest European rivals, Barcelona, 3-0 in the group stages to move into the top eight and temporarily in the automatic qualification places for the Round of 16.

Behdad Eghbali congratulates Marc Cucurella straight after Chelsea 3-0 Barcelona
Marc Cucurella enjoyed a fantastic display at both ends of the pitch, including keeping Lamine Yamal quiet despite the wonderkid’s brilliance.
After claiming his trophy to add to his personal collection, Cucurella was greeted by Eghbali, as shown on Chelsea’s official TikTok.
The owner almost fell down the stairs towards the dressing room at Stamford Bridge, although managed to just about retain his footing.
He was quickly joined in congratulating the players by the sporting directors, including award-nominated Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart.

Eghbali and Boehly’s big plan pays off at Stamford Bridge
There has often been criticism of Eghbali and Todd Boehly’s methods since taking over the club, but the win over Barcelona was arguably the biggest night at Stamford Bridge since they took over.
The highlights from Chelsea’s dominant victory over Barcelona!
Signing talented young players ahead of their rivals has been key to the mantra of the club. There have been none with more faith in them than Estevao.
On a night where the Brazilian was under the microscope due to the presence of Yamal, Chelsea’s wonderkid put in a starring performance that completely stole the show in that regard.
They were also rewarded for sticking with Enzo Maresca, a decision which not every Chelsea fan has agreed with so far. The Italian set his side up perfectly to outclass Hansi Flick and secure a huge three points for the Blue.
