Nottingham Forest will attack the transfer market once again in January with Sean Dyche wanting to bolster his ranks.
Several new faces arrived in the summer, with Forest securing Europa League football following UEFA making the decision to kick Crystal Palace out of the competition.
Some of the new players have made an impact, with Nicolo Savona scoring his second goal for the club in a 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
Others might already be on the way out, however, with Arnaud Kalimeundo attracting interest from Roma, Stuttgart and Paris FC.
Dyche is keen to add new players to the ranks, and now the first target on the new head coach’s list has emerged following reports.

Nottingham Forest want Jack Hinshelwood from Brighton
According to the Daily Mail, the central midfielder is high on the shortlist at Forest, with Dyche seemingly hoping to bolster his midfield ranks.
Hinshelwood has fallen down the pecking order at Brighton, making just four appearances in the Premier League this season, although he did score the winner against Brentford last weekend and was called ‘special’ for his efforts.

MORE FOREST STORIES
The 20-year-old scored a towering header against Forest in a 2-2 draw at the AMEX Stadium last season, and he can also play as a right-back, with that level of versatility making him appealing to Dyche.
Hinshelwood started the game against Forest in the 2024/25 campaign when Brighton were thrashed 7-0 at the City Ground, with the player selected as the only midfielder in the starting eleven.
He will return to Trentside for the first time since that day this weekend, and there might not be another motivation for him to do well against the Reds.
Forest have a number of midfield options
Nicolas Dominguez returned to action recently, and he offered a timely reminder of his quality in the win over Liverpool at the weekend.
Likewise, Ibrahim Sangare has truly kicked on this year, although he will head off to the African Cup of Nations for a few weeks around the festive period.
Elliot Anderson is wanted by a number of clubs, but right now, he remains an instrumental part of the team, whilst Ryan Yates and Douglas Luiz are also vying for places.
As a result, Hinshelwood’s arrival would be an intriguing one, but if Dyche is keen to land him, then perhaps it’s time for Evangelos Marinakis to place his faith in the manager and let him add some of his own players to the ranks.
