Megan Moroney is clearing up dating rumors after fans began to speculate that she was romantically involved with NFL star Nick Bosa.
The "6 Months Later" singer/songwriter recently appeared on the PEOPLE StyleWatch cover, where she opened up about her personal life and made it clear that she isn't seeing anyone at the moment.
"I'm not dating right now at all," she told the outlet plainly. "I'm too busy."
Dating Rumors Started Circulating in September
Folks began questioning whether or not Moroney, 28, and Bosa, 28, a San Francisco 49ers defensive end, were an item after she was spotted on Instagram and X watching the 49ers home game against the Arizona Cardinals from a suite at Levi's Stadium on Sept. 21. According to the outlet, she also held up a jersey with "Moroney 9" stitched across the back.
This certainly isn't the first time Moroney has found herself in the center of the rumor mill. Her breakout hit, "Tennessee Orange," sparked widespread chatter that she was dating Morgan Wallen. Moroney later clarified that while the two were close, they "never exclusively" dated.
"At the end of the day, being honest with my songwriting is what's gotten me this far," Moroney said in a July 2024 interview with Call Her Daddy. "So I never let the possibility that people might speculate stop me from writing about how this situation made me feel..I think Morgan is great, and his new album [I'm the Problem] is great - he and I are still friends."
Moroney was also the subject of chatter in 2025 when fans spotted her on vacation in St. Barts with fellow country singer Riley Green.
"He was individually on his vacation with his friends. St. Barts is a popular place! It's one of those things where if you know someone on a small island, you're like, ‘Oh, sh*t, you're here too.' So it was fun," Moroney told *Rolling Stone*about the meet-up with Green. "Just because we're hanging out doesn't mean we're romantically dating. You know what I mean?"
Megan Moroney Is Gearing up To Release a New Album
Despite the constant speculation surrounding her love life, Moroney is laser-focused on her career - and for good reason. She tied for most -nominated artist at the 2025 CMA Awards and is preparing to release her highly anticipated third album, Cloud 9, arriving on February 20. The project ushers in her vibrant "pink era," and Moroney says it's her most confident work yet.
"It's the most excited I've been about an album release so far, and I think it's because I [had] the most time to work on this one," she says. "It's written from a perspective where my feet are really planted, and I feel really confident with where I'm at in my life and who's around me."
