Arsenal are preparing for a hugely difficult encounter as they prepare to face Bayern Munich in the Champions League on Wednesday night. The Gunners are flying high in Europe having won all four of their opening four fixtures in the competition. Mikel Arteta's side are also sitting top of the tree in the Premier League with a 4-1 win over fierce rivals Tottenham Hotspur putting them six points clear in first with just 12 games played.
The similarities with Bayern are uncanny, with Vincent Kompany's side boasting an identical record in Europe while also sitting six points clear at the top of the Bundesliga.
It's bound to be a pulsating clash in North London and this is the latest going into the contest at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta was boosted by the return of Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli to the squad for Sunday's North London Derby clash with Tottenham at the Emirates Stadium. As a result, the duo could feature against Bayern.
Martin Odegaard could return to the fold following a knee injury.
Arsenal will, however, be without Viktor Gyokeres (hamstring) Gabriel Magalhaes (hamstring) and Gabriel Jesus (ACL), while Kai Havertz has suffered a fresh setback in his recovery from a knee injury.
Arteta Drops Arsenal Team News Hint
Mikel Arteta gave an update on his team ahead of the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich.
Asked if Madueke and Martinelli will feature, Arteta said: "They are, and we're going to have a meeting now to decide on Martin [Odegaard]. He was very close for the previous game, so we are hopeful that tomorrow he can be in the squad as well."
Discussing how Gyokeres and Havertz were progressing, the Spaniard replied: "Really good, both of them. In the next few days, they're going to have a repeat scan to see how everything is and where we can push them for the weekend."
Arsenal Predicted XI
Arsenal Predicted Line Up: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Hincapie, Calafiori; Eze, Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Merino, Trossard
Arsenal Predicted Subs: Mosquera, Madueke, Nwaneri, Lewis-Skelly, White, Martinelli, Kepa, Norgaard, Dowman
Following the 4-1 thumping of rivals Tottenham, Arteta could be tempted to name an unchanged side in order to keep the momentum against the German giants. If he does, the Spaniard will have undoubted quality on the bench to potentially change the game if it is required.

Harry Kane celebrating after scoring for Bayern Munich against Chelsea in the UEFA Champions League
Bayern will be forced into a major change following Luis Diaz's red card in their last Champions League outing against Paris Saint-Germain. Facing a three-match ban, the ex-Liverpool star won't feature in Europe again until January.
Kompany could welcome Serge Gnabry back into the fold and the former Gunner could replace Diaz in the side if passed fit.
Jamal Musiala (ankle) and Alphonso Davies (knee) will definitely miss out, meaning that 17-year-old talent Lennart Karl could be given a start after becoming Bayern's youngest-ever Champions League scorer earlier this season.
One man who will certainly feature is Harry Kane with the Tottenham legend no doubt desperate to get one over on his old rivals.
Bayern Munich Predicted XI
Bayern Munich Predicted XI: Neuer; Laimer, Upamecano, Tah, Guerreiro; Pavlovic, Kimmich; Olise, Karl, Gnabry; Kane
Bayern Munich Predicted Subs: Min-Jae, Jackson, Ito, Laimer, Mike, Kimmich, Boey, Urbig
Kompany could hand Gnabry a start against his former club at the Emirates Stadium along with Tottenham legend Kane. Teenage wonderkid Karl could also truly announce himself on the biggest stage with a big performance against one of world football's toughest defences.
