Everton have had nine permanent managers over the last nine years, so they’ve certainly had their fair share.
David Moyes is the man in post at the moment, and he’s currently got Everton sitting in 11th place, above Liverpool.
Moyes’ contract ends in 2027, so he only has 18 months left at the club unless the Friedkin Group renew his deal.
Should Everton extend David Moyes’ deal beyond 2027 or replace him?
History suggests the Toffees bosses in recent times don’t get much longer than that in the job, and one of their former managers, who was only given a year, is now flourishing at his new club.
In fact, his team are on course to win a whopping 108 points this season.

Since then, Lampard has turned Coventry into one of the best sides in the Championship, getting them into the play-offs last term.
The West Midlanders are now sitting pretty at the top of the table and are streaking clear as well, as they’re 10 points clear of second-placed Stoke City.
Lampard’s side have lost just one league game in 17, and are averaging 2.3 points per game, which projects them to finish on 108 points come the end of the season.

Frank Lampard’s record at Coventry is phenomenal
Since joining a year ago, Lampard has taken charge of 46 games for Coventry, which is the equivalent of a season in the Championship.
He’s actually won 92 points in that time, despite taking over from a club low in confidence and looking over their shoulder to relegation.
46 games
28 wins
8 draws
10 losses
89 goals scored
50 conceded
It looks for all the world like Coventry will be promoted, so Everton may face their former manager in the Premier League next term.
The Toffees would then have three former managers to come up against in Lampard, Sean Dyche and Marco Silva.
