Gakpo was one of the players who has spoken out before facing his former club, and he has given fans encouragement that the dressing room is not in a bad place to get back on track.

As well as this, the Champions League looks very much like their best chance of silverware due to their position in the Premier League, so this competition could just save Slot his job.
The Dutchman has faced PSV on numerous occasions during his time in the Eredivisie, so hopefully he knows better than most how to get past them, as if not, then doubts will only increase.
