Gameweek 12 of the 2025/26 Premier League season was certainly eventful – with teams such as Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all succumbing to defeat, who made it into the Fantasy Premier League team of the week?
We’ll take a look at all the best and worst performing players in FPL this week – do you have any of our winners and losers in your team?
Goalkeepers
Jordan Pickford easily picked up the title of goalkeeper of the week in the Premier League for an outstanding display against Manchester United on Monday evening. He made six saves and kept a clean sheet during the Toffees’ 1-0 win at Old Trafford.
For this week’s biggest loser between the sticks, we have to go with Gianluigi Donnarumma. He wasn’t the only goalkeeper to amass just a single point this week, but none of them are as expensive as he is. £5.7 is very costly for a goalkeeper – as such, it’s fair to expect better returns.
Defenders
Once again, gameweek 12 was a period of good tidings for Premier League defenders where FPL is concerned. Nottingham Forest’s Murillo tops the bunch with 17 points, after he scored a goal and maintained a clean sheet in a massive 3-0 win against Liverpool at Anfield.
Daniel Munoz also deserves credit for the 14 points he picked up against Wolves – like Murillo, he also scored and kept a clean sheet on the road.
If you had a Tottenham defender in your team this week, however, you’ll have been highly disappointed with their FPL output. The majority of them mustered zero points – Cristian Romero was the only one to get points on the board, and even then, it was only a singular point.
