Arsenal and Liverpool recently watched player live–€100m transfer fee already planned

Arsenal and Liverpool are also in the race for RB Leipzig rising star Assan Ouédraogo. In fact, they have both watched him live recently.

[That’s according to SportBILD.](https://sportbild.bild.de/) They cover Leipzig today and their current batch of young stars earning interest around Europe.

The weekly German magazine explains that Leipzig’s jewels are currently worth around half a billion in potential transfer fee. Ouédraogo is one of them, [after also being linked with Manchester United and Chelsea](https://sportwitness.co.uk/interest-more-concrete-chelsea-and-manchester-united-in-picture-for-same-player-signing-realistic-with-top-offer/).

He’s just made his debut for the German national team after signing from Schalke for €10m a little over a year ago. His first year at the club was ruined by injury but he’s making a ‘real breakthrough’ this season.

Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund already had him on their radar during his youth career. But according to SportBILD, Arsenal, Barcelona and Liverpool are now showing the most interest. In fact, all three recently watched him live. That’s a clear sign of their interest in him.

If they want to progress that to something concrete, though, they’ll have to dig deep. Leipzig are already eyeing a future sale worth over €100m. There is an internal belief that one of the youngsters, including Ouédraogo, will break their transfer record. That currently stands at €90m.

For now, Liverpool and Arsenal appear to just be watching him. But the 19-year-old won’t be cheap if that changes.
