Packers’ Micah Parsons reacts to ultra-rare NFL achievement in first Green Bay season

Micah Parsons’ incredible feat in his first seasonwith the Green Bay Packers continues to be the talk of the town.

The 26-year-old Parsons sack master had two quarterback takedowns in Week 12’s 23-6 Green Bay win against the Minnesota Vikings at Lambeau Field. Those were in addition to his two total tackles and three quarterback hits to help the Packers score their seventh win in the 2025 NFL regular season.

Those two sacks also gave Parsons10 total so far in his first season with Green Bay, which landed him just before the 2025 campaign via a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, a transaction that sent two future Packers draft picks and veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark to Arlington.

On Tuesday, Parsons once again acknowledged the rare feat he accomplished with a heartfelt message on social media. He reposted an NFL GameDay’s post that celebrated his accomplishment with the following text on a graphic: “MICAH PARSONS

JOINED HOF REGGIE WHITE AS THE ONLY PLAYERS SINCE 1982 WITH 10+ SACKS IN EACH OF THEIR FIRST FIVE SEASONS.”

Parsons completed the post by writing: “all glory to God!!”

There should be more sacks to make this season for Parsons, as Green Bay has six more games on schedule, including this coming Thursday’s Thanksgiving showdown at Ford Field in Detroit against the Detroit Lions. It can be recalled that Parsons made his Green Bay debut in Week 1 opposite the same team, when he recorded a sack on Lions quarterback Jared Goff.
