Liverpool is back in Champions League action with a home clash against PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.
This is the fifth match of this season’s European campaign, with Liverpool picking up nine points so far. The Reds have also won both of their home European matches this term against Atletico and Real Madrid.
Arne Slot will hope for similar tonight following Saturday’s bruising defeat against Nottingham Forest. The 3-0 loss has increased the scrutiny and pressure on the Dutchman.
But Slot cut a relaxed figure in his pre-match press conference, as he laughed and joked with reporters from his homeland.
Slot also provided a team news update, gave his view on Liverpool’s current downturn in form, and explained one major difference between this season and last.
It sets up what should be an intriguing contest against a PSV side in fantastic form.

Arne Slot also revealed that Joe Gomez is struggling with a knee injury, but is available to play against PSV. As for the visitors, Peter Bosz’s side is set to be without Ruben van Bommel and Alassane Plea.
