Pro Football Focus credited Latham with allowing five pressures against a ferocious Seahawks defensive line. That tied for his season-high amount, having previously allowed five pressures (and three sacks) in Week 6 against the Las Vegas Raiders, his first game back from injury. Latham allowed just one sack against Seattle, and was also penalized for an illegal formation penalty.
Drew Beatty of PaulKuharsky.Com put together a compilation of Latham’s supposed issues in pass protection against the Seahawks. Did the sophomore blocker struggle with his anchor? Ward was routinely tasked with escaping muddied pockets on Sunday, something he did with a high degree of success.
A couple of offensive line experts disagreed.
It’s been a disappointing season for Latham. They moved him from left to right tackle, his supposed more natural position. The Titans also signed reliable right guard Kevin Zeitler in free agency to add some experience next to Latham.
Latham arrived at the offseason program in terrific shape. A hip injury suffered during training camp that was initially downplayed by Brian Callahan proved to be far more significant than claimed. Hopefully the injury is the reason why Latham isn’t experiencing the sophomore season we all hoped he would.
The 2026 campaign is shaping up as a massive one for Latham.
