Jalen Hurts isn't going to let anyone know about this one Kevin Patullo question

There has undoubtedly been a lot of attention on the Philadelphia Eagles' offense and its lack of efficiency.

Most of that criticism has come at the front doors of quarterback Jalen Hurts and offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo. The Eagles had a 21-0 lead over the Dallas Cowboys before losing 24-21, scoring zero points in the second half.

With Patullo calling for him to lose his play-calling duties, there have been many questions about his role in the offense and his involvement in game planning during the week. That led the media to ask Hurts during his media availability what he had learned from his coach, but he wasn't about to answer.

"I don't wanna get into the particulars of that. I've had a lot of OC's; it's always been an exciting thing to get to learn. It's a challenge I've embraced. They've always been different, but we've always found a way in the end."

The one question Eagles fans have for Hurts will go silent

It's fair to try to understand what Patullo brings to the table, since his offense numbers aren't good. The Eagles rank 24th in the NFL in total offense with 303.6 yards per game, 23rd in passing with 193.2, and 21st in rushing offense in the league with 110.5 yards per game.

All Eagles fans were hoping by game 11 the offense would have gotten things together. A lack of a running game by the NFL's best running back, Saquon Barkley, and a predictable offense to the point of knowing what two to three routes A.J. Brown is going to run is not a good look.

Hurts, himself, has taken a ton of criticism. There were reports that teammates were frustrated with his play, as he has been conservative with his decision-making with the ball despite having only one interception on the season.

It would be nice to know how Patullo stacks up against the rest of the offensive coordinators Hurts has worked with, to understand how different he is and what he brings to the table. That might be a mystery that goes unsolved in Philadelphia.
