It was already a difficult physical battle for Hansi Flick’s team at 11 v 11, but once they went a man down, any chance of a comeback ceased to exist. The second 45 minutes were a mere formality.

After the game, Hansi Flick spoke on a number of topics and, as quoted by [Mundo Deportivo](https://www.mundodeportivo.com/futbol/fc-barcelona/20251125/1002576057/flick-necesitamos-mas-agresivos-mas-fisicos-dinamicos.html), agreed that finishing in the top eight is now a difficult ask. He said:

**“It will be difficult to be among the top eight, but everything is possible.”**

Despite the 3–0 defeat, the coach wanted to highlight the positives. He continued:

**“I’ve seen positive things, and I hope to keep seeing them. Raphinha has returned, Marcus is at his level, the rest will come.”**

Finally, Hansi Flick ended with a promise for Barcelona fans. He assured:

**“Yes, we will see a different Barça. I promise. We have to work and train intensively, and I see it positively.”**

This is Hansi Flick’s way of assuring that his team will keep improving. Performances like the one against Chelsea are simply not what is expected from this side, and it remains to be seen how they respond in the weeks to come.
