LINCOLN, Neb. (WOWT) - On this day in 2010, Detroit Lions rookie and Husker football alum Ndamukong Suh had his jersey retired.
He joined just a handful of other all-time greats that had received the honor.
Suh capped his career with a stellar 2009 season, one that ranks among the best by college football defenders. The Oregon native finished his career with 215 tackles and three touchdowns.
Tom Osborne was on hand at Nebraska’s game against Colorado to retire Suh’s jersey.
