Liverpool announce confirmed starting XI to face PSV in Champions League clash

Arne Slot has announced his starting line-up for Liverpool’s fixture with PSV.

The Reds’ Premier League form in 2025/26 has been harrowing, most recently losing 3-0 to Nottingham Forest.

There has been much discussion around the Liverpool manager’s future as a result, with the Dutchman no doubt eager to get back to winning ways tonight.

After Alexander Isak was anonymous versus Nottingham Forest on Saturday, the record signing has been relegated to the bench in place of top scorer Hugo Ekitike.

Despite struggles this season, Milos Kerkez has kept his place in the eleven ahead of Andy Robertson, while Dominik Szoboszlai is filling in at right-back once more.

Elsewhere, there is no room in the eleven for Federico Chiesa, who has two goals and three assists in 366 minutes of football this season.

Who will win Liverpool vs PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday?

Unlike in the Premier League, Liverpool are actually playing quite well in the Champions League this season.

Their most recent outing saw Slot’s men earn an impressive 1-0 victory over Real Madrid.

Prior to that, Wirtz was among the top performers as the Reds put five past Eintracht Frankfurt.

They have also beaten Atletico Madrid 3-2 and lost 1-0 against Galatasaray in Europe this term.

As a result, Liverpool were three points off top spot going into the latest round of Champions League fixtures, slipping down to 10th on the back of Tuesday’s matches.

The Merseyside outfit could climb as high as first come the end of November 26 if a lot of results go their way and they hammer PSV.
