Former Los Angeles Lakers wing Cam Reddish has found a new basketball life as a potential star in the Lithuanian league over in Europe. After spending a couple of years in LA, Reddish saw his NBA career come to an end and decided to move on to the international stage, where he has found some success.
Though things didn’t pan out for Reddish in the NBA, he still has plenty of talent to tap into. He was one of the top recruits in his high school class, and he was a first-round pick for a reason. Just because it didn’t work out in the NBA (nor with the Lakers) doesn’t mean he’s a bad player.
Now, he’s getting the chance to prove that in the LKL.

-------------------------------
Up until this season, Reddish was hanging onto his NBA career, but this summer, he left the league for international ball, [inking a contract with Siauliai in Lithuania](https://lakeshowlife.com/los-angeles-lakers-cam-reddish-signs-lithuania-overseas-atlanta-hawks).
So far this year, Reddish has appeared in nine games, starting eight of them and playing 26.4 minutes per contest, which is the fifth-most on the team. However, his scoring punch has been there.
Through the first nine contests, Reddish is averaging 14.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 2.0 steals while shooting 40.0% from the field and 27.1% from deep range on 5.3 three-point attempts per game.
Reddish is the ninth-leading scorer in the entire LKL (the Lithuanian basketball league). He’s slowly turning himself into a potential star overseas.
**How was Cam Reddish with the Lakers?**
----------------------------------------
In his first season with the Lakers, Reddish showed some promise. He gave LA solid minutes and was a part of the rotation, albeit an inconsistent part of the rotation.
Unfortunately, Reddish wasn’t nearly as good in his second season with the team, and JJ Redick didn’t utilize him as a consistent face in lineups on a game-to-game basis.
Reddish began his career with the Atlanta Hawks, drafted as the No. 10 pick in the 2019 NBA Draft. However, he was traded in the middle of his third season with the team, shipped to the New York Knicks.
From there, he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in the deal that sent Josh Hart to the Knicks, before eventually signing with the Lakers in free agency in the summer of 2023.
For now, Reddish’s career in the NBA is over, but based on the way he’s been scoring in Europe, he could potentially eye a return at some point in the coming years.
