Jason Kelce has revealed he felt guaranteed to succeed when he interviewed Taylor Swift for the first time because of how comfortable she made him feel.

The Kelce brothers broke the internet back in August when Swift joined their New Heights podcast to announce the release of her most recent record, The Life of a Showgirl.

And it later emerged that Travis Kelce was about to propose to her after the podcast was recorded. Now, fans of the couple across the world are counting down to a hugely anticipated wedding.

The Kelce brothers have welcomed an array of stars from the sporting world and beyond to their show, from Caitlin Clark to Leonardo DiCaprio, but Jason admitted he knew there was an extra degree of scrutiny with Swift.

But he won over plenty of admirers, especially for his flamboyant introduction where he referenced an array of Swift's career highlights before screaming her name, prompting the singer to say: 'That intro, Jason! Oh my god! Thank you for screaming for like 47 seconds, that was so nice!'

Discussing the interview with Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson, two friends of Swift's on Monday's bonus New Heights, he passed the credit to his production team by saying: 'We have a great editing team. They're very good.'

Andrews said to the Philadelphia Eagles hero that he 'crushed' the interview, to which he said: 'I think anybody could have done a good job interviewing Taylor.

'She was fantastic and I don't know, I appreciate you saying that. It was a lot of fun putting that interview together.

'I'm terrible. I can't interview anybody. I flip over my words. I stumble, but that was a fun one for sure.'

Three months on, the interview has racked up an astonishing 24million views on YouTube.

Swift was at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday afternoon, cheering Travis and the Chiefs on to a crucial 23-20 win against the Indianapolis Colts in Kansas City.

But Thanksgiving will have to be delayed for the power couple, with the Chiefs heading to Dallas on Wednesday before their holiday game against the Cowboys in another game they cannot afford to lose.

The Chiefs are 6-5 after beating the Colts, while the playoff-chasing Cowboys stand at 5-5-1.

The couple, meanwhile, are believed to have decided upon Swift's Rhode Island mansion as the venue for the wedding.
