NEW ORLEANS (WAFB) - Former LSU kicker Cade York has officially taken his first practice reps as a member of the New Orleans Saints.
The team posted a photo Wednesday showing York in a Saints uniform, making his first on-field appearance since New Orleans added him to the roster.
The Saints signed York after releasing Blake Grupe following a 1-for-3 outing in an NFC South rivalry loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
York, a free agent at the time, reportedly impressed team officials enough after workouts to sign a deal on Tuesday morning.
The 24-year-old former LSU Tiger has had stints in the NFL with the Browns, Titans, Giants, Commanders, and, most recently, the Bengals.
Last season, in Week 16, York kicked a career-long 59-yard field goal in a 24-6 victory over the Browns.
