The [Denver Broncos](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/denver-broncos) have signed kicker Will Lutz to a three-year, $16.1 million extension, pushing his average salary to $5.367 million per year, making him one of the NFL’s highest paid kickers, per [ESPN’s Adam Schefter](https://x.com/adamschefter/status/1993794330683748849?s=46&t=SF-knYTy_vdKy3mmfTQuvQ).

The nine-year veteran has been a key figure to the Broncos’ strong 9-2 season so far, which has them first in the AFC West by two games. Lutz has been reliable for the Broncos since joining the team in 2023, and will now stick around for the foreseeable future.

In his time with the Broncos, Lutz has converted 88.6 percent of his field goal attempts, and has missed just two PAT’s. This season, Lutz is 17 for 20 on field goals, and a perfect 24 for 24 on PAT’s. His longest made field goal of the season was 57 yards.

Lutz will look to continue his strong 2025 season as he and the Broncos have all the makings of legitimate Super Bowl contenders.
