Liverpool have lost yet again to pile the pressure onto Arne Slot.
The Reds have now lost nine of their last 12 games, with their performance against PSV, yet again, way off the levels it needs to be.
Slot made just one change from the team that lost to Nottingham Forest and this was evident by how lethargic they were.

Who was Liverpool’s worst player against PSV Eindhoven?

Questions will continue to be asked about his future, with the situation starting to turn into a crisis. Here are how the players rated at Anfield.
Defence
Giorgi Mamardashvili: 6 – Not involved at all in the first half in terms of shot-stopping. Second half he also had nothing to do really and didn’t have much chance with their second, third or fourth goal.
Curtis Jones: 6 – Did a decent job and wanted to attack and press PSV where he could. Just like Szoboszlai, wherever he is asked to play he does it with relative ease.
Ibrahima Konate: 4 – A decent first half from the Frenchman, but in typical Konate fashion, he made a rod for his back with a costly mistake in the second half for the third goal. Subbed off early again.

Virgil van Dijk: 4 – Made a stupid error to give away a penalty and then got booked, but did fairly well after that. Little bit open at points, however.

Milos Kerkez: 5 – Showed a lot of fight, but this time not too much. A small improvement but still some weakness defensively as was caught out for the second goal.
Midfield
Ryan Gravenberch: 6 – Had a few good moments on the ball but was very quiet overall for the second game on the bounce, as well as a little sloppy at points.
Alexis Mac Allister: 6 – Tried to get stuck in but could not really get on the ball as much as he would have wanted.
Dominik Szoboszlai: 8 – Far more effective in the middle of the park as his energy is simply a necessity. He worked hard on and off the ball, made some neat passes and was in the right place to score the goal. Could see that Liverpool tried to give him the ball as often as possible.

Attack
Mohamed Salah: 5 – Just another quiet game all round for the Egyptian. Was barely in the game, did nothing of note in attack and, of course, didn’t help out defensively. Probably should have been taken off.
Hugo Ekitike: 7 – A very lively first half from the Frenchman, almost like he was trying to prove a point. A few good runs, touches and shots, but nothing too troubling. His injury could be a huge blow.
Cody Gakpo: 6 – Clearly wanted to score against his former club as he looked more eager compared to recent weeks. Also worked hard, but couldn’t get anything to show for it even though he should have scored his header just after the hour mark.
Substitutes
Alexander Isak: 5 – Came on for Ekitike and got a lot more of the ball than he did against Forest at the weekend. Didn’t really do anything of note, though.
Federico Chiesa: 6 – Worked hard and had a good effort at goal, made more of an impact than Isak despite being on for a lot less time.
