Leandro Trossard got injured against Bayern Munich
Arsenal lost Leandro Trossard to injury during their Champions League match against . The forward was forced off seven minutes before half-time, with Noni Madueke coming on to replace him.
spoke to Trossard as he trudged off the pitch alongside a member of Arsenal's medical staff. also exchanged a few words with his player on the sideline after making that substitution.
Trossard had scored in consecutive matches coming into this game after opening the scoring against Hotspur in last weekend's North London Derby. He also assisted Eberechi Eze for the fourth and final goal on Sunday.
His replacement, Madueke, only made his return as a late substitute versus Spurs. The winger missed Arsenal's previous 11 matches wth a knee injury.
Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz and Viktor Gyokeres also remain sidelined in forward areas. Martin Odegaard has yet to return, while Gabriel Magalhaes is another key player currently sidelined.
The Belgium international has been ever-present in squads this season. He has featured in all but three matches, and on each occasion he was an unused substitute.
Trossard is the only forward player to be in every squad this season. The other players current achieving that feat are Cristhian Mosquera, , , Mikel Merino, Myles Lewis-Skelly, Riccardo Calafiori and Timber.

Madueke then put Arsenal back ahead in the second half with his first goal for the club. Gabriel Martinelli then sealed the win with a third less than ten minutes later.
