In not too surprising of news, the Kansas City Chiefs have officially ruled out Pro Bowl right guard Trey Smith for their Week 13 game. He suffered an ankle injury early in Week 12 against the Indianapolis Colts and did not return. It would later be revealed that he suffered both high- and low-ankle sprains in the game and was expected to miss some time.

The Chiefs had a bit more difficulty running the football once Smith was out of the game and replaced by backup Mike Caliendo. With the Cowboys having an improved defensive line following the NFL Trade Deadline with the acquisition of Quinnen Williams, it is going to make the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense struggle a bit more as a result.
