Player Ratings: Olympiakos 3 – 4 Real Madrid

**Player Ratings: Olympiakos 3 - 4 Real Madrid**

**Andriy Lunin: 8.5.**

What a luxury to have arguably the best back-up goalkeeper in the world. Lunin stepped in without missing a beat and produced four big saves.

**Trent Alexander-Arnold: 8.**

This is the Trent Real Madrid expected when they signed him. In sparkling form again. His long-range passing is limitless, surgical, effortless — and almost always finds its mark.

**Raúl Asencio: 7.**

Not really at fault for the goals conceded. Distributed the ball well and looked composed.

**Álvaro Carreras: 7.**

A mixed night. Made several good challenges and escaped pressure confidently, but switched off for Olympiakos’s third goal. To be fair, he was playing as a makeshift centre-back.

**Ferland Mendy: 7.5.**

A solid return to the XI. Strong on the ball and excellent in his 1v1 defensive duels.

**Aurélien Tchouaméni: 7.**

Smashed the crossbar from distance, made four interceptions, but fell asleep marking Taremi on Olympiakos’s second goal.

**Eduardo Camavinga: 7.**

Played in a double pivot alongside Tchouaméni and delivered an assist. Progressed the ball well but also gave it away unnecessarily a couple of times.

**Fede Valverde: 4.**

Another rough outing. Should’ve tracked better on Olympiakos’s first goal, and his passing repeatedly let him down.

**Arda Güler: 7.**

Produced a brilliant assist for Mbappé. Should’ve finished off Vinicius’s incredible solo run but chose the wrong option, killing the chance.

**Vinícius Júnior: 9.5.**

His best performance since El Clásico. Unplayable. Two assists on the night — and should’ve had a third. Also had a brilliant finish on a goal that was disallowed.

**Kylian Mbappé: 10.**

Four goals. Enough said. His movement was relentless and his finishing pristine.

**Jude Bellingham: 5.**

Needed to defend better on Olympiakos’s third goal — especially as one of the fresher players on the pitch.

**Dani Ceballos: 5.**

Looked shaky in possession. Held onto the ball too long and made simple actions unnecessarily complicated.

**Brahim Díaz: 5.**

Managed just five touches after coming on in the 72nd minute.
