Everton have leapfrogged Liverpool in the Premier League table and the Reds just keep on losing under Arne Slot.
This week saw Champions League football return and Liverpool found themselves on the end of another defeat at Anfield.
David Moyes’ side showed just what they are made of on Monday night, when a 10-man Blues took all three points from Manchester United.
Manchester United fans hailed Everton’s away support at Old Trafford as the travelling Toffees saw their side over the line.
Newcastle United travel to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday, which has left the Blues keeping an eye on the Champions League action.
And on Wednesday night, Jamie Carragher was left with egg on his face again as he took a fresh swipe at Evertonians.

Micah Richards recently called out Carragher’s Everton connection live on the CBS broadcast of the Champions League.
It is a show where Carragher is often seen taking aim at his Everton-supporting producer.
MORE EVERTON STORIES
Wednesday night was no different, as he unleashed an Everton dig when Liverpool equalised, before eventually going on to lose 4-1 to PSV Eindhoven.
Where will Everton finish this season?
“1-1! Myles [producer], come here a minute. You know what I said to you before that you Evertonians never learn… just keep your mouth shut,” said Carragher.
Well, the Everton fans certainly enjoyed the last laugh again as Liverpool have now conceded seven goals in their last two games.
Even Duncan Ferguson has taken aim at Carragher in recent months for previously supporting the Blues as a child.
The former defender’s words on Wednesday night certainly left him with egg on his face after Slot’s side then went on to lose in humiliating fashion.
Everton could pull away from Liverpool this weekend
Currently, there is just one point between Everton and Liverpool in the Premier League table.
For the first time in 11 years, Everton are above Liverpool in the table after the opening 12 games of the Premier League season.

However, the ambition on Merseyside is so much bigger this season, with Moyes excited by the summer signings he was handed by the Friedkins.
Moyes wants Everton to push for European qualification and another win this weekend could push them up into those spots.
A huge December awaits the Toffees, with an even bigger January transfer window ahead of the club.
