The NFL is a Thanksgiving staple, but the league's holiday games have become even more of a spectacle in recent years with a greater emphasis on musical performances.
While the halftime shows will draw the most buzz — Post Malone is among the artists taking the stage on Turkey Day — the national anthems will also feature some well-known names.
Don’t expect anyone to match Aretha Franklin’s record-setting four-minute, 34-second national anthem performance at Ford Field in 2016, but Thursday’s anthems will still carry added meaning on one of America’s most widely celebrated holidays.
Here’s what you need to know about the national anthem singers for the NFL’s Thanksgiving slate.

Goldsberry is an actress and singer who played Angelica Schuyler in Lin-Manuel Miranda's "Hamilton" when it first debuted on Broadway. Her work in the role earned her a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical, while the cast received a Grammy Award for its music.
In addition to her work on stage, Goldsberry has made a handful of film and TV appearances, including a role on "Ally McBeal" from 1997-2002 and three appearances on "Law & Order."
Goldsberry doesn't have a known connection to Baltimore. She was born in California and raised in Houston and Detroit, but she will get the night started at M&T Bank Stadium before the nightcap of the NFL's Thanksgiving schedule.
