There's nothing quite like a competitive NFL matchup to go with all the Thanksgiving fixings!

The Kansas City Chiefs (6-5) and the Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1) will face off in a Thanksgiving game on Nov. 27. While the Chiefs have a better record, both teams are coming off major wins: The Cowboys came back 21-0 to beat the Philadelphia Eagles by three points on Nov. 23, and the Chiefs defeated the Indianapolis Colts 23-20 in overtime.

Viewers can expect all the star players from each team — including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Dak Prescott and George Pickens — to take the field. The football players won't be the only stars, as Post Malone will take the stage for the Cowboys' 29th annual Red Kettle Kickoff Halftime Show.

"honored to be part of the @dallascowboys @salvationarmyus red kettle kickoff halftime show. see y’all on thanksgiving," he captioned photos of him in Cowboys merch on Nov. 16.

The Cowboys are no strangers to competing on Thanksgiving Day, as they've played every year since 1966 (except for 1975 and 1977). Meanwhile, the Chiefs have also played on the holiday, but not since 2006. The last time the two teams faced off against each other on Thanksgiving was in 1995, when the Cowboys beat the Chiefs 24-12.
