The Arizona Department of Transportation has issued three new specialty license plates. With the addition of the Ovarian Cancer Awareness, Phoenix Mercury and Verde Valley Wine Trail specialty plates, there are now 109 different plates to choose from. Most specialty plates cost around $25 each year. Of that, $17 goes to a designated charity or nonprofit group.

Ovarian Cancer Awareness specialty license plate
This specialty plate is available to anyone and also offered in a motorcycle format. $17 of the fee goes to support programs that provide education, resources and direct support services to ovarian cancer patients, survivors and caregivers.

This plate will be available to anyone and also offered in a motorcycle format. $17 goes to the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation, using the platform of basketball to provide resources and support that strengthen and unite communities across Arizona.

This specialty plate is available to anyone and offered in a motorcycle format. $17 going to support sustainable vineyard practices, promoting responsible driving initiatives, as well as inspiring more people to visit and discover the beauty of northern Arizona.
“Proceeds from the sale of the new Verde Valley Wine Trail specialty license plate will support the Verde Valley Wine Trail 501(c)3, aiding Arizona wineries and promoting sustainable farming practices”, said Paula Woolsey, president of the Verde Valley Wine Consortium. “The initiative aims to educate grape growers and wineries, support local nonprofits, and drive economic growth in the region. The colorful license plate not only raises funds but also encourages responsible drinking and water-friendly vineyard development, allowing buyers to help preserve the beauty of northern Arizona."
