**Arsenal legend Thierry Henry says he is confident that the Gunners can go all the way and win the Champions League this season.**
Speaking after Mikel Arteta’s side secured a [**comfortable 3-1 win over Bayern Munich**](https://goonernews.com/blog/arsenal-player-ratings-bayern-munich/), Henry said that he really thinks his former club have all the tools to make it to the final:
“There’s something different this year, there’s something different. It’s not the same as before. Before, I used to say that Arsenal can win because I’m a fan.”
“Now, I say it without my Arsenal hat on. The way Arsenal look as a team, as a unit, is different. There’s something that’s happening.”

Wednesday night’s fixture was billed as a contest between titans but it really didn’t turn out that way.
The visitors only had 2 shots on target during the 90 minutes; one of which was their goal. In contrast, Arsenal had 14 attempts in total; 3 of which found the back of the net.

The bookmakers certainly believe the Gunners can win their first European Cup. Arteta’s team are currently favourites, being priced between 10/3 and 7/2.
Their last opponents, Bayern, are still 2nd among the other runners and riders, while Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Manchester City make up the rest of the top five.
If we assess each of these teams, they all have weaknesses. PSG conceded 3 goals to Tottenham, the same team that were comprehensively beaten in the North London derby last weekend.
Real have suffered a bit of a wobble in recent weeks, having lost to struggling Liverpool, drawn against Rayo Vallecano and Elche, whilst needing four goals from Kylian Mbappe to beat Olympiakos. City have also lost twice in a row versus Newcastle and Bayer Leverkusen.
