Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy has big career plans. So much so, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United in his contract.
[That’s according to BILD.](https://www.bild.de/sport/fussball/borussia-dortmund-zukunftsplan-von-serhou-guirassy-enthuellt-692753edb4508c8851a522a7) They cover the striker today, who reveal his future plans today. According to the newspaper, the 29-year-old has a ‘clear plan’ in mind.
They explain that rumours about an exit have been circulating for months. One thing is clear on that front, Guirassy isn’t planning for a January transfer move. Dortmund wouldn’t let him go anyway. He wants to finish the season strongly, solidify his role at the club and look to the summer. That’s when things should get ‘considering more interesting’ for him.
Guirassy has a release clause written into his contract. But it only applies to ‘top clubs’. According to BILD, these are Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool. For any other interested parties, the transfer fee would be significantly higher.
Guirassy sees exactly two scenarios for his future. Scenario one is a move to one of the top aforementioned clubs. For that to happen, he needs to keep scoring. He believes that if he keeps delivering by May, the doors to a ‘powerhouse’ may open.
Scenario two is a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia. That would be his last big chance to cash in, big time. The striker already has suitors in the country.
Staying at BVB beyond the summer is considered highly unlikely either way. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are all in his viewfinder. And they have a special contract clause to take advantage of.
Of course, this is something we’ve heard of before. [Back in May the same clause was widely reported.](https://sportwitness.co.uk/guirassy-clause-arsenal-liverpool-chelsea-manchester-united-manchester-city/) It seems in Germany, they want to ensure it doesn’t get forgotten.
