NFL power rankings: NFC East Week 13

The Philadelphia Eagles (8-3) are still in control of the NFC East, but things have tightened up a bit after the Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1) pulled off an upset against Philadelphia on Sunday. The Washington Commanders (3-8) and New York Giants (2-10), however, are out of the playoff picture and starting to look toward the 2026 season at this point. With the Cowboys now 2.5 games back of the Eagles, let’s dig into the Week 13 NFC East Power Rankings.

#4 New York Giants (2-10)

The New York Giants have played good football almost all season, but still sit at 2-10 after having lost their seventh one-score game. That’s probably good news for the Giants long-term strategy as it will help their 2026 draft position, but it’s not great news for their spot in the Week 13 NFC East Power Rankings as they’re bringing up the rear of the division.

#3 Washington Commanders (3-8)

The Washington Commanders lost six straight games heading into their bye week and will likely play the rest of the season without star quarterback Jayden Daniels. They still have to play the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles (twice), so there’s a very good chance that the Commanders will finish with double-digit losses in 2025 after their surprising 2024 season.

#2 Dallas Cowboys (5-5-1)

The Dallas Cowboys have now won two games in a row after completing a fourth-quarter comeback against the Philadelphia Eagles, and have (barely) climbed back into the playoff picture at .500. The next two weeks will decide the fate of the Cowboys’ season as they’ll face the Kansas City Chiefs and Detroit Lions.

#1 Philadelphia Eagles (8-3)

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts (1) makes a pass against Detroit Lions during the second half at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on Sunday, November 16, 2025.

The Philadelphia Eagles still have control over the NFC East, but they’re now 1-1 against both the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. While there’s very little chance that the Eagles won’t win the division this season, they’ve shown enough cracks through their first 11 games to cast some doubt on their chances at repeating as Super Bowl champs.
