Arsenal could be without four players for their trip to play Chelsea on Sunday, with the Blues also potentially missing four games too.
The Gunners are on a high right now. They beat Tottenham 4-1 in the Premier League, before standing out in the Champions League with a 3-1 win against Bayern Munich on Wednesday night. Goals came from Jurrien Timber, Noni Madueke and Gabriel Martinelli, and Arsenal are now top of the league phase table.

They have a six point lead over Chelsea in the Premier League table, and face the Blues this weekend, in what is a real Premier League six-pointer. Chelsea come off an impressive 3-0 win against Barcelona during the week.
Both teams could be without four players each heading into the game due to injury concerns. It could be a deciding factor on Sunday afternoon.
Chelsea injury news
Chelsea have three players ruled out, with two names out for a long period of time. The first is Levi Colwill who isn’t expected to return for Enzo Maresca until next season due to an ACL issue. Furthermore, Dario Essugo is set to be out until the start of 2026 too, so he won’t be available on Sunday.
Romeo Lavia has also been ruled out, as the midfielder has suffered a hamstring injury earlier in the month. As things stand, it isn’t clear when he will return.
Cole Palmer is a doubt for the game as he has been dealing with a fractured toe. He is currently being assessed, and Arsenal fans will be praying the England star won’t be fit to return this weekend.

Arsenal injury news
Mikel Arteta could be without four players, as two members of his squad have already been ruled out. The first is Gabriel Jesus, who is looking at a return from his long-term ACL injury in January as things stand.
Gabriel will also miss the game, as Arsenal confirmed that he would miss around a month at least due to the groin injury that he suffered during the last international break with Brazil.
Kai Havertz could make a long-awaited return against his former side this weekend, with the German striker’s knee injury all but recovered. He is currently being assessed ahead of the game.
Arteta has also said that Viktor Gyokeres could return this weekend against Chelsea as he has been dealing with a knock for the past few weeks. Arteta said on Gyokeres and Havertz: “Really good, both of them. In the next few days, they’re going to have a repeat scan to see how everything is and where we can push them for the weekend.”
