The Green Bay Packers haven't had the services of tight end Tucker Kraft for multiple weeks now, and his absence is going to extend a lot longer.
Kraft suffered a significant knee injury in the Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers that landed him on injured reserve, which has a four-week minimum stay.
However, Kraft is going to be out a lot longer than that after his official diagnosis was revealed shortly after he suffered the injury.

But Kraft is young and younger players usually recover better and faster. So, barring any setbacks, he should return after nine months, at the latest.
With the injury occurring earlier this month, we could see Kraft return to practice by August of next year, and we would expect him to be ready to go for Week 1.
Prior to his injury, Kraft was in the process of cementing himself as one of the best tight ends in the sport, which only makes his injury more frustrating.
The good news is, there won't be any long-term effects, although it's possible that Kraft might not be himself in his first year back from the injury, which we've seen from other players who have suffered a torn ACL over the years.
