Future Chelsea star Geovany Quenda kept up his brilliant form this season at Sporting with a goal and an assist in the Champions League against Club Brugge.
The Portuguese star was signed by the Blues during last season, however the deal was agreed to allow him to stay at his current side until the end of the 2025/26 campaign.
Quenda wowed Portuguese media with his display in Europe, as he continues to star on the big stage before his switch to Stamford Bridge.

Geovany Quenda stars on the left wing in Sporting’s Champions League win
Initial fears were regarding the fact that Quenda and Estevao Willian typically play in the same position. The future star is another who has done most of his work on the right of attack.
However, Wednesday night against Brugge saw Quenda feature on the left of attack, and the fact he performed so well is great news for Maresca.
Alejandro Garnacho and Jamie Gittens currently occupy the left-wing spots in West London, as well as Tyrique George, who is likely to leave in January.
While Garnacho is starting to find his feet, it looks far easier to break into the side on that flank than the right, where Estevao is being frustrated by the strong performances by Pedro Neto.

Quenda already preparing for Chelsea move
The Blues will be hoping that their latest new wonderkid is going to have the same impact upon his arrival as Estevao, who has looked electric every time he has featured at Stamford Bridge.
Quenda has already visited multiple Chelsea matches this season, and the improvements in his game suggest he is doing all he can to be straight into contention for the first team.
Maresca is likely to give him the same treatment that he is giving to the Brazilian, where he looks to protect him from too many minutes in the early stages.
There will be plenty of excitement with the duo featuring together in the future though, especially if this can take place on both wings at the same time.
