Manchester City are among the teams specified in the release clause of Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy, according to reports in the German media.
Tabloid Bild (via Sport Witness) claim that Pep Guardiola’s side, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United are all named (along with Real Madrid and Barcelona) as clubs that can trigger the clause, and sign him for a relatively modest price.
Guirassy is not expected to leave Dortmund during the January transfer window, but the player does have his eye on a move away from the Bundesliga side at the end of the season.

The 29-year-old has scored 9 goals in all competitions so far this campaign, so he will undoubtedly have suitors if he does become available.
Guirassy might not be keen on playing second fiddle
With the forward nearing 30 years of age, you can’t see him being happy as Erling Haaland’s backup.
Guirassy is an out-and-out number 9 like the Norwegian international so he would not be suited to playing out wide (like Omar Marmoush) either.
If he does move England next summer, it seems likely that one of the other four Premier League clubs would be a more realistic destination.
Man City do want to add firepower up front
It has been claimed that Guardiola is not happy with the number of goals his forwards are scoring (with the exception of Haaland).
There have been reports suggesting that the Cityzens are weighing up a move for Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo. Like Guirassy, the Ghananian international does have a buyout fee in his contract.
It is believed that interested teams would need to pay £60m up front with another £5m in add-ons. However, the clause is only thought to be active for the first two weeks in January next year.
