The New England Patriots (10-2) have now won nine straight games and have taken a 2.5 game lead in the AFC East over the Buffalo Bills (7-4). The Miami Dolphins (4-7) are still lingering after winning two games in a row before their bye, while the New York Jets (2-9) continue their residence in the basement. With the rest of the division having nightmares of the 2000s and 2010s, let’s dive into our AFC East Bold Predictions for Week 13.

The Patriots will win their tenth-straight game this week

The New England Patriots have benefited from an easy schedule this season, but winning nine straight in the NFL is an impressive feat, no matter who you’re playing. With a Monday Night Football game up next against the New York Giants, the Patriots should again be able to take advantage of another last-place team on their schedule. We’re going with a 31-17 Patriots win.
Drake Maye will finally throw for 300 yards
Drake Maye is a top-3 MVP candidate right now, but he’s yet to throw for 300 yards in his young NFL career. He came close with 294 yards against the Bengals last week, but we’ll look for him to get over the hump this week against a Giants defense that is in the bottom-10 in the league in passing yards allowed per game.

The Bills will lose their second straight game
The Buffalo Bills have had a strange season that has exposed some of their weaknesses along the way. Coming off a tough loss to the Houston Texans, the Bills will now have to face the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road. While the Steelers aren’t exactly a juggernaut, they’re still a tough team to play, and we’re going to predict a 27-23 Steelers win this week.

Josh Allen will have a big passing game
Josh Allen has had a good season, but it hasn’t quite been up to his normal standards. While he’s currently eighth in the league in passing yards per game, he’ll get a great matchup this week against a Steelers team that has allowed the second-most passing yards per game. While we’re picking the Steelers to win, we’re also going to pick Allen to throw for 300-plus yards.
Miami Dolphins

The Dolphins will win their third straight game this week
The Miami Dolphins have won three of their last four games and will look to win their third straight when they host the New Orleans Saints this week. The Dolphins haven’t been favored in many games this season, but this is a rare occurrence where they’re favored to win. With the Saints already having packed it in for 2025, look for the Dolphins to win their third straight by a score of 23-13.
De’Von Achane will rush for over 100 yards this week
De’Von Achane is in the midst of an amazing season and is now fourth in the NFL in rushing yards. He’s now rushed for 100-plus yards in two straight games and will get to face a Saints team that is allowing over 123 rushing yards per game. We’re looking for Achane to continue his hot streak this week and predict a rushing total of at least 110 yards against the Saints.
New York Jets

The Jets will upset the Falcons
The New York Jets have had a tough 2025 season, but they’ll get to face the 4-7 Atlanta Falcons team at home this week. While the Falcons somehow beat the Buffalo Bills, they’ve also lost five of their last six games and will be playing with backup QB Kirk Cousins under center. We’re going to go out on a limb and pick the Jets to win by a score of 17-13 this week.
John Metchie III will again lead the Jets receivers
John Metchie III is finally having success after a tough start to his NFL career, and he’s led the way for Jets receivers over their past two games. While Breece Hall has been outdoing him in yards, Metchie has scored in two straight games and is playing the best of any of the Jets current receiving corps. We’ll look for him to top 50 receiving yards and find the end zone against the Falcons this week.
