Well, sort of.
The Green Bay Packers' wide receiver does have, optically, a bigger helmet.
But it's not exactly what it appears.

Why is Romeo Doubs' helmet bigger than everyone else?
Romeo Doubs doesn't actually have a bigger helmet.
Instead, he's got a cover over his standard helmet.
It's called a Guardian Cap.
A Guardian Cap is a soft, protective, shell covering that goes over the regulation NFL helmet.
It is designed to help prevent head injuries.
Guardian Caps were first allowed to be worn on NFL practice fields in 2020.
The first time players could wear Guardian Caps in games was 2024.

Doubs began wearing a Guardian Cap late in the 2024 season. He missed two weeks with a concussion that he sustained against the San Francisco 49ers.
In his first game with the Guardian Cap, he had two receiving touchdowns.
Doubs has continued to wear the helmet covering for the entire 2025 season.
His teammate, rookie Savion Williams, also wears a Guardian Cap.
