Although the [Cincinnati Bengals](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/cincinnati-bengals) will welcome Joe Burrow back into the fold tonight for the first time since Week 2, the team is dealing with many other injuries, especially to the receiving core.
Tee Higgins has been ruled out due to a concussion and Jermaine Burton was ruled out due to an ankle injury. This is in addition to half back Tahj Brooks who also has a concussion and defensive star Trey Hendrickson who has been ruled out with a hip injury.
Amid these injuries, Burrow will have to lean on Cincinnati's depth as the Bengals look to snap a four game losing streak. Having served his suspension last week, Ja'Marr Chase will be back in action. Given the history and the chemistry between the former college teammates Chase and Burrow, expect them to connect early and often on Thursday night.
The tight end tandem of Mike Gisecki and Noah Fant are also likely to be featured in the passing game.
Additionally, other options at receiver will be Andrei Iosivas who had four catches last week and Mitchell Tinsley, who had a career high six targets last week and hauled in his second touchdown of the season.
Lastly, Charlie Jones will move up on the depth chart, entering the game as Cincinnati's WR #4. Jones has yet to record a reception this season.
Given that the Cincinnati defense allows the most points in the NFL, all the pressure will be on Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and the offense to keep the scoring pace high.
