Why Dontayvion Wicks' catch was ruled a touchdown in Lions vs. Packers

There is some controversy in the second quarter of the Week 13 game between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers.

The controversy stems from Jordan Love's touchdown pass to Dontayvion Wicks, which put the Packers up 10-0 over the Lions.

Wicks and Love connected on a pass down the sideline, but it appeared the Packers wide receiver didn't get his second foot down in bounds on the play.

Here's why it was ruled a touchdown.

Why Dontayvion Wicks' catch was ruled a touchdown

As you can see in the video below, Wicks gets his right foot down first, and then the left foot comes down after that.

However, the Lions have a gripe here, as it didn't look like Wicks had full control of the football when he got that right foot down.

Clearly the officials felt differently, so there's nothing the Lions can do about it.
