Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season under the guidance of Mikel Arteta

Arsenal find themselves top of the Premier League table after the opening 12 fixtures of the season. They have fallen short in the title race over recent years but are hoping that they finally get their hands on the trophy in this campaign. The Gunners are six points ahead of Chelsea in 2nd and seven above Manchester City in 3rd.

Arsenal should consider future Vinicius Junior swoop

Arsenal should explore a potential future swoop for the winger. He would be an exciting coup for the Gunners and would add more firepower to their attacking department. In addition, he would give Arteta more competition and depth at the top end of the pitch.

Vinicius, 25, is a Brazil international with 45 caps under his belt. He started his career in his native country with Flamengo and rose up through their academy as a teenager. The Sao Goncalo-born man broke into their first-team as a youngster and went on to play 69 matches, chipping in with 14 goals.

Real Madrid then lured him away from South America and over to Europe back in 2018. He has since become a key player for the Spanish giants and has won everything with them. The forward has fired 111 goals in 340 outings for them altogether to date but is in limbo now. A change of scene to England to a club like Arsenal would be an exciting new challenge for him and a chance to show what he can do in different surroundings.

Arsenal should propose Real Madrid swap deal

Arsenal should look to use a player as part of a swap deal to try and reduce Real Madrid’s hefty £80million valuation. Myles Lewis-Skelly has fallen out of favour over recent times and could look to move on. At the age of just 19 still, he has bags of potential and has a bright future ahead of him in the game.

Lewis-Skelly, who is from London, has risen up through the Gunners’ ranks and was a regular at various different youth levels. He made the step up into the senior team in 2024 and has played 52 games already, finding the net on one occasion from the back. However, he has seen his game time dry up this term under Arteta and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him depart in some capacity for more opportunities.

He would give Real Madrid back-up at left-back and is someone who they could develop over the next few years. The prospect may have to initially bide his time to get into Xabi Alonso’s starting XI in the interim period if he completed a transfer to the Santiago Bernabeu. In the long run though, he could turn out to be a shrewd acquisition for them if they decided to take a chance on him.
