Rodgers practiced fully after sitting out Wednesday’s session. It’s the strongest sign yet that he will play Sunday and matches the team’s confidence he will suit up. Last week, Rodgers sat out Wednesday and then was limited the rest of the week.

Speaking to reporters yesterday Rodgers said he was still working on gaining comfort with under-center exchanges but believed an extra week helped him heal and could be enough time to get him on the field. Still, his status seems uncertain, and he could finish the week questionable as he did last week. Mason Rudolph will receive a second start if needed.

Highsmith is attempting to return after missing the previous two games with a pectoral injury. When active, Highsmith has been productive with 5.5 sacks, but he’s missed four games this season with various injuries after missing six games in 2024.

The fact Highsmith was full is a good sign he will suit up versus the Bills. If he can’t play, Nick Herbig will start with Jack Sawyer serving as the No. 3 outside linebacker.

Porter, Metcalf, and Skowronek are attempting to play after suffering in-game injuries against Chicago in Week 11. Porter was unable to finish the game due to a hip-flexor injury and was limited in practice yesterday. Metcalf gutted out an ankle injury while Skowronek suffered a shoulder injury. Both players sat out Wednesday.

Metcalf looks poised to play Sunday while Skowronek is far less likely. Porter’s status Friday will be key. If he can’t play, CB Darius Slay is likely to start.

Harmon and Jones were ruled out on Tuesday. Now, the question will be if they can return for Week 14 against the Baltimore Ravens. As a rookie, Harmon may have a tougher time getting the reps needed to be cleared, though the team has shown high trust in him this season. Yahya Black is expected to start in Harmon’s place. Video yesterday suggested Andrus Peat could get the nod over Calvin Anderson for Jones at left tackle.

Heyward popped up late on last week’s injury report with an ankle injury. But he played against the Bears and is expected to suit up versus the Bills. Smith and Watt receive regular rest each week and will play. Seumalo will also suit up after being limited yesterday with rest.

The Steelers and Bills kick off Sunday at 4:25 PM/EST.
