Michael Strahan made a clever dig at his FOX NFL Sunday co-worker Rob Gronkowski after the former New England Patriots star reflected on how he met his girlfriend, Camille Kostek.
While speaking about his involvement with the Patriots’ Thanksgiving turkey drive, during which team players and staff hand out turkeys and other food to families in need, Gronkowski recalled how the holiday tradition helped him meet his longtime partner.

“It’s so rewarding to go out there and give back and just to see the relief on these families just knowing they have food to feed their families for the holidays is what makes it so special,” Gronkowski said on FOX NFL Sunday.

“And you never know who you’re going to meet there as well. You got your teammates there as well, and I met my better half Camille on Thanksgiving, giving out those turkeys at the turkey drive for the Patriots. The reward always comes back to you when you give back.”
Gronkowski has been in a relationship with Kostek, a former Patriots cheerleader and current model, host, and actress, for more than a decade. After hearing the story, Strahan, who began working full-time alongside Gronkowski this season, couldn’t hold back his quip.
“Hold on, so he was giving out turkeys and she picked up a turkey,” Strahan said, likely making a reference to Gronkowski’s goofy and childish personality.

“That is correct Michael, you got me there,” Gronkowski said while Strahan laughed at his own line.
The FOX NFL Sunday crew, which includes Gronkowski, Strahan, Howie Long, Terry Bradshaw and host Curt Menefee, is known for their playful and, at times, unserious back-and-forth banter with one another amid their expert football analysis.
Last week alone, Bradshaw told Gronkowski he should “be ashamed of himself” over a Carolina Panthers claim and Strahan roasted Bradshaw after the former quarterback showed off his arm on set.
Every week, something new happens that leaves the crew bursting out in laughter or befuddled.

Gronkowski originally signed with the network after his first retirement from the NFL in 2019, and became a full time member of the FOX NFL Sunday panel in 2025 after longtime analyst Jimmy Johnson retired.

As a player, Gronkowski was a tight end and won four Super Bowls with the Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, all with Tom Brady as his quarterback. The 36-year-old is considered one of the best tight ends in the history of the league, alongside Travis Kelce.
Gronkowski and Kostek have been publicly dating since 2015 and are not yet engaged or married.
While the former NFL star has maintained a prominent public image through media and commercials, Kostek, 33, appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue in 2019 and is a host of television game show ‘Wipeout.’
