The NFL is back with a loaded Thanksgiving slate. There will be three games throughout the day, with the Kansas City Chiefs taking on the Dallas Cowboys in the second game.
Games on Thanksgiving have been given a partial Super Bowl treatment. They are in standalone primetime slots, and the NFL has made a point to give fans top-tier entertainment during halftime. While most halftime shows during the regular season are not shown on the broadcast, the Thanksgiving shows now come with a stage setup and are broadcast just like the Super Bowl.
This year, the halftime act for the Chiefs-Cowboys game is musical artist Post Malone. He is a noted Dallas fan, and he will likely be performing some of his old songs, while also focusing on his recent country album, "F1 Trillion."
The Sporting News is tracking live updates and reviews of Malone's halftime show during Cowboys vs. Chiefs on Thanksgiving Day.

Post Malone halftime show start time
5:45 p.m. ET/4:45 p.m. CT (approximate time)
It is hard to nail down an exact time that Malone's halftime show will begin. It all depends on the pace of play between the Chiefs and the Cowboys. If the teams keep the ball on the ground and keep the clock running, then it could be as early as 5:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. CT. If the offenses continually air the ball out, drop passes or consistently run out of bounds, the game clock will move much more slowly, and the game could start as late as 6 p.m. ET/5 p.m. CT.
The Sporting News will provide updates above for when the halftime show looks like it is going to start. If you want to watch it, check where the game is around 5:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. CT and adjust from there.

How long is the Post Malone halftime show?
In general, NFL halftimes last about 13 minutes, so any entertainment has to be quick. The league will relax this timeframe when there is a big performance for a primetime game. For example, the Super Bowl halftime typically lasts 25-30 minutes, with the musical performance usually being 12 to 15 minutes.
The Thanksgiving halftime show gets more attention than a typical halftime show, but doesn't receive the full allotment a Super Bowl halftime show does. Malone can be expected to perform for about eight to ten minutes.
